Online store closure for moving house! ✨

Firstly thanks so much to everyone who came out to Tea Green Est.2014 Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums at the weekend. It's always such a lovely event to be part of, with engaging conversations and the chance to exhibit in my favourite space 😊

This is just a heads up to let you know that I've made the decision to close my online store temporarily whilst I move house. You have time to offer up until this Wednesday the 12th of August in the evening, after then I will be taking the shop offline whilst we move house. I'm really hoping this will only be for a week or so but it may end up being longer so if you have your eye on anything definitely get that order in soon 💚

Thanks so much for your patience! I never like to fully close up but the overwhelm is real 😂

I've been having more and more conversations at markets about the use of generative AI in design. Thankfully there seems to be a majority who agree that whilst AI is pretty inevitable, there is nothing that beats creative work made with thoughtfulness by a real person.

The scary thing is that as a digital textile designer it would be so easy for me to start using gen AI in my designs but this is my promise to you that I never will! I absolutely love the design process, and I'm proud to be a textile designer who designs & sews all of my geology inspired designs.

If you are in Scotland and looking to find some absolute gems made by real humans then come to at today from 11-5 or next weekend the 8th and 9th of August!

I'm very excited to share the first look at my AW26 shoot with the amazing Rosalind Main and Sarah Jane Macinnes - Makeup Artist Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤎 I'll be sharing more about this collection in the coming months with a launch hopefully in September.

Up next I have two last markets for summer, The Burrell Collection on the 1st and 2nd of August followed by Aberdeen Art Gallery on the 8th and 9th both with Tea Green Est.2014 . After this I'll be closing my online store for a couple of weeks to allow me to focus my energy on our big house move.

Thank you for all of your support over the summer - scarves are a hard sell when it's 28 degrees but you have all shown me so much love. The last few lines from my moving studio sale are left on my online store and I'll be taking these down after the weekend so make sure you have a wee look 🤎

As you might know I'm getting ready to move house & studio in August. I'm slowly but surely making my way through packing and I've uncovered lots of gems that I'd love to find new homes for before we move.

I'll be offering at least 50% off all sale lines, the biggest discount I have ever offered as a wee thank you for your support over the last 5 years and for making this move possible. There will be some one off lines, designs which I am discontinuing and lots more on offer.

After being away at the EAGE conference all of last week, I'm back to business as usual, posting out online orders and getting ready for my first of the year at Kelvingrove Art Gallery ☺️

I am so excited to be exhibiting at EAGE in my hometown of Aberdeen for the next three days.

It's my first time exhibiting at a geology conference and even from the few hours I was there for the preview tonight, I can tell I'm going to have such a great, engaging time.

I'm back from my holidays! And bridesmaid duties 💙 my friends are the biggest supporters of Agate & Ayre so we had to put a lil geology inspired twist to 's getting ready outfit. Bringing a piece of Aberdeen to Cyprus - fellow bridesmaid sewed up this v cute cotton set for our bride using some of my 'Aberdeen' design. No satin pjs for us in 28 degree heat 😂

I've hit the ground running and I'm working on some big, exciting collections for Abbotsford House and Calanais visitor centre. My wholesale books are very full and I'm so grateful for this!
