COMMISSIONED ILLUSTRATION

A recent retirement gift commissioned for Janice, a much loved member of the CLL team in the Centre Of Life Long Learning at Strathclyde Uni in Glasgow. This is based on a photo provided by the team and features the iconic graffiti artwork on the side of the Graham Hills Building where they are based. 🌼

The CLL team are a lovely bunch and I had the pleasure of meeting Janice during my time teaching a perspective drawing class there just after covid. I wish her well in her retirement. 🏵️

A Father's Day commission from Amber of a much loved family home. Whilst today the house has a number of different details and finishes, Amber was able to provide some photos of it as she remembers it in her childhood and I was able to draw it looking as it did then.

Check out this recent commission, gifted by a squad of brothers to their parents on a big wedding anniversary. Four family homes, two in Edinburgh and two in Glasgow, were captured in this set. The guys were keen to get the details right, suited to the era of each home, from the classic 1980's green paintwork in a Scotstoun house, to the traditional detailing of the Edinburgh bungalow! I believe their parents were delighted.
