After a very busy weekend at Largs Viking Festival we really need to give a very special shout-out to our fantastic volunteers Jayme, Jaiden and Donald 🙌

Jayme volunteered at the stall both days, while Jaiden and Donald came along for a few hours. All three did a brilliant job taking payments, thanking customers and making sure everyone left with a smile. You were absolute stars!

We had a brilliant time – and we hope to see lots of you again at Garnock Valley Carves in our home town of Dalry, Ayrshire! We’ll have our gazebo there, so please pop by, say hello, find out more about Mecoco and, of course, shop our gorgeous candles and wax melts.

It's our second day at Largs Viking Festival ⚔️

What a weekend! 🎈

Our first visit to Strathaven Balloon Festival was AMAZING! On Saturday, the sun shone, the balloons flew, the crowds came, and Mecoco sold out of FIVE wax melt fragrances! Our Taking the Biscuit candles were a huge hit too – especially when they came with a FREE Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer.

Our Christmas cards flew off the stand, our Sense Scotland artwork was a big hit, and Eilidh’s beautiful fused glass earrings were heading off to new homes. We loved chatting to customers about the talented artists behind our artwork. So many people wanted us to pass on their lovely comments and appreciation to the individual artists.

But some of our favourite conversations were with other people who work in the additional support needs field – teachers, artists, personal assistants and others. They were genuinely inspired by what Mecoco does.

Our brand-new “You Are Amazing” thank-you cards were also a huge hit! Every Mecoco purchase helps create meaningful opportunities for people with complex disabilities and communication support needs. So when you buy from us, you're not just buying something that smells good… it feels good too.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who visited, bought, chatted, encouraged and cheered us on. You made our weekend!

Join us for another bumper weekend of events and markets this Saturday and Sunday 🎈🚃

On Saturday, 29 August and Sunday, 30 August, we're terribly excited to be coming along to Strathaven Balloon Festival - Scotland's only hot air balloon festival! With all the colourful balloons on display, it's only fair that we'll be bringing along our very colourful candles, melts, diffusers, artwork and glasswork, each made by people with complex needs.

And on Sunday, 30 August, we're back with our great friends at The Rail Yard in the heart of Glasgow for their Summer Sundae Market. Join us for some great summer vibes and the chance to explore all of our amazing scents and products.

The Largs Viking Festival is BACK next week - and we'll be there from Wednesday, 2 September to Sunday, 6 September.

Grab your battleaxe and head down to The Promenade, Largs, KA30 8NE to get your hands on our EXCLUSIVE Smoke and Mirrors (cologne, cognac and oak) and Bless Your Cotton Socks (fresh cotton) wax melts, in the shapes of runes and skulls.

And if you're after your regular Mecoco fix, we'll be selling all of our other scented products, glass jewellery and artwork.
