I changed career and opened a Cake Shop at 40. Here’s three things I’ve learned: 🧁doubt gets you no where, determination does. All my life I’ve been filled with self- doubt , questioning my every move. Opening the shop has forced me to take ownership of my ideas and try not to let the doubt win! 🧁Community is key - over the last three years I have met the most amazing people. Strangers who have become customers who have become friends. Local business owners who all support each other- fighting the good fight! Everyone’a support and encouragement means everything. 🧁 I actually love coffee! Before I opened the shop, I was an avid tea drinker. Ask my family - I was a 8 cups a day kinda of girl. But now that I get to sell the best coffee I’ve become obsessed- especially with the decaf! And what’s even better, I make and sell a delish tiramisu cake!
