I have good news and bad news.

As you are all aware I returned to work in September after 9 years of being self employed. My plan was to work during the day, do a little bit of sewing each night, and reduce my number of orders 🐻

I have been closed for a while as I'm still catching up from Christmas, and I have been really busy in the new job. It's been hard going and my kids are fed up with me at my machine in the evenings 🙈

This week, my boss promoted me from entry level to General Manager, so this completley changes my thoughts on sewing. The bigger job title comes with bigger responsibilities and I intend to do them to the best of my ability.

With immediate effect, I will no longer be accepting any new orders whatsoever. This includes every type of product I previously offered. Once I have cleared my current orders, I may be selling some of my equipment so if your crafty, watch this space.

I am forever grateful to everyone who supported me during my time trading as Mum's Market. Time for this Mum to get a new career on track.

If anyone is looking for bears please please please make sure you see plenty of the persons work before parting with your precious garments 🥰

Okay boys and girls, everyone who has a confirmed order for bears/cushions please get your clothes to me ASAP.

I'm running a very very tight ship now that I'm back out working. I'm basically working during the day and sewing every night to make sure my orders are ready for Xmas 🎄

If I have everyone's in it means I can just soldier on without pausing and/or waiting for clothes to arrive.

Drop off is best for me now in the evenings.

If there is anyone who can wait till after Christmas please let me know as this will take a bit of pressure off 🥰

I'm loving my new job and being out the house and actually seeing people! 😂 No regrets, but I have a few tough months ahead 💪

Okay boys and girls, I'm closed until further notice. I need a breather to catch up and clear my current orders.

I will be reopening for baby stuff, candles, Xmas stuff etc but will NO LONGER be making any hand sewn items.

As much as I appreciate recommendations and being tagged in posts please don't do this if the person is looking for Bears, Cushions and Blankets.

The time has come for me to focus on what's right for me and my family and striking a proper work/life balance.

Onto my next chapter....

LAST Day to order hand sewn items

I am returning to the Funeral Industry to work and I simply won't have the time to continue with my sewing 🪡🧵 The current NMW is £11.44. My bears take me 7hrs and I charge £60. I'll let you guys do the maths. I love making my bears but I need to do what is right for me and my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I have been self employed for 9 years. I have managed to build an excellent reputation as well as provide for my twins, for which I am very grateful 🙏🏼

I'm looking forward to getting back out to work and my new role is very much as rewarding as my bear making has been. I will still be doing smaller items. Candles, baby bits etc, but I cannot continue to accept orders for the really time consuming stuff. We work to live, we don't live to work!

Thank you to everyone who has ordered from me and supported my small business. I'm not disappearing just yet!

Currently working on orders from end of June. All new/recent orders will be with you before Christmas 🎄

Orders for hand sewn items stop tomorrow at midnight. All orders will be with you before Christmas.
