Welcome to Nancy Handmade 🌸

Nancy Handmade began from a difficult chapter in my life. After many years living with chronic illness, my health gradually worsened to the point where I was no longer able to work or leave the house easily. Like many people facing long-term illness, I struggled with feeling lost, isolated, and unable to achieve the things I once hoped for.

To help cope with those feelings, I began creating handmade crafts from home. What started as a small creative escape slowly became something much more meaningful. Day by day, I taught myself new techniques in sewing, crochet, fabric work, painting, and other handmade crafts. Creating things with my hands gave me purpose again, helped me through depression, and reminded me that even in difficult circumstances, we can still create beauty and joy.

I began sharing my creations online through Facebook, never expecting much from it, but the kindness and encouragement from people inspired me to keep going. That support eventually led to the creation of Nancy Handmade.

Today, many years later, I continue to create every item with care, patience, and love, alongside the support of my daughter, who has helped me every step of the way to bring my handmade creations online for others to enjoy.

Every item in this shop is individually handmade, which means each piece is unique and often one of a kind. Because everything is created by hand in small quantities, our items are limited and made with genuine time, effort, and attention to detail.

Nancy Handmade is more than just a small business to me, it is proof that illness does not define a person’s worth, creativity, or ability to inspire others. Through every stitch, fabric choice, and handmade detail, I hope to share a little warmth, creativity, and encouragement with those who support this journey.
