**What exactly is Patreon?**
A few people have asked whether Patreon is another social media platform.

I’d describe The Felt Hub on Patreon as an easy access library of my resources. You’ll find needle felting tutorials, seasonal projects, helpful articles, videos, courses, workshops, and handmade business information, organised into collections so they’re easy to browse (we already have lots of members so click the page LEARN MORE button at the top.)

⭐Most importantly, links aren’t restricted in the way they are on Facebook. If something catches your eye, you can click the link and go straight to it. No commenting with a special word or being sent around the houses first.

You can also receive an email whenever I publish something new, so you don’t have to rely on Facebook showing it in your feed.

You don’t need to post anything yourself, and you don’t have to pay. Following The Felt Hub on Patreon is completely free.

I’m not leaving Facebook, but Patreon gives you a much simpler way to find and access everything I share.

Would you like to exhibit your felt work?
The 2026 Fiber Art Exhibition brought together 30 remarkable pieces, from animal sculptures and portraits to abstract and deeply personal work.
The astonishing piece pictured is by Cindy of Chicktin Creations Cindy was the only artist to have TWO pieces named as top finalists in the exhibition. Quite an achievement!
I’ve taken a closer look at the exhibition in my new article, and there’s no single style, subject, or approach that defines felt art. That’s exactly what makes it so interesting.

Could Your Work Be in the 2027 Exhibition?
Plans at Rustic Fiber Academy are already underway for next year’s Exhibition. The 2027 theme will be 'Stories Untold'. The exhibition will open online on 1 June 2027.
If you’re already thinking, “My work isn’t good enough,” take a look at the 2026 finalists first. You might be surprised by just how broad and varied felt art can be.
Submissions open on 1 April 2027, but now is the perfect time to start thinking about what you might create.
