Super excited about my new labels for items in Serendale doubled sided with my logo and qr code that leads back to here.
What do think to it? Would you follow the link and leave a review?

The idea came from a suggestion here, so thanks so much for all your support I really appreciate it.

These items all dropped at the weekend in the shop, a couple of the autumn trees are there and a restock of cards and pocket hugs. All of them with my branding proudly on it
Interestingly Bec at the shop mentioned how customers value branding on the product as it proves to the person being gifted to that it wasn’t bought on Amazon!

Last week a big parcel headed out as some one said it with Everlasting Flowers
This one was the amber set. This glass is one of my favourites a lovely soft yellow that my brain reads as gold
Everlasting flowers are perfect for when you want to up your flower gifting game. Handmade from fused glass and a copper stem they look great as a collection in a vase, but they are weather proof and can stay outside all year round.
What are your plans for today? I’m flying to Italy to stay with my friend for a week. There may be a little glass something 🐝 in my bag as a little thank you to her

Today I have a guessing game for you!
The kiln is cooling, I’m excited to see what v3 of the angel and the autumn inspired prices look like 🤗
It’s currently 8am and we’re at 205C. Tell me, what time will i be able to safely open the kiln at approx 50C?
As a clue the whole run takes 24 hours
Closest guess wins my eternal admiration!

You might have seen the angels in yesterdays kiln reveal.
So today I thought I’d tell you a little about the design process, particularly as angels are quite tricky
All my templates are hand drawn.
I have to work out how to layer the glass to get it to fuse together. Just pushing it together doesn’t work, it has to be layered and you can’t defy gravity either, as any glue you use will burn off before the glass fuses together.
So that’s why angels are tricky, picture 2 shows the layout I settled with, but it’s too risky in one firing, as it’s highly likely the head will slide off as it’s suspended in the air. So the head is attached to the body first then the wings are attached later
I’ve now gone through 3 body shapes, as the first one was too tall and skinny, the second was better but a little short and now I hope my inner Goldilocks has got it just right!
With each one of these versions a separate 24 hour firing in the kiln you can see why it sometimes takes me a while to get from idea to delivery!

I’ve been waiting a while to share this feedback with you from the lovely Debbie. And as my sunflower suncatchers are now back in stock, today seemed appropriate 🌻
As you can see she is a repeat customer and also has a bee 🐝 suncatcher (I’ll put a picture of that in the comments if you like the sound of it.)
Anyway she is adorable and made my day with that feedback 🥰It makes all the backache from bending over a desk worth it!!
I’ve often tried to grow sunflowers, but it’s too windy here for them. Do you have sunflowers in your garden?🌻

Making these sunflowers yesterday was the perfect antidote to a wet and miserable Saturday
They have been in the kiln overnight and should be ready to come out tonight, so probably Monday morning.
What are your bank holiday plans and have any been washed out?
I’m busy making all weekend as I’m out of stock of too many things after an unexpectedly good two months particularly at Serendale.
