We have made it into the semi-final of the dragons giveaway for the amazing The Teesside Family Foundation £20,000 giveaway - all we need is YOU to vote for us.
We are 90% volunteer ran. My chef is a full time volunteer. My 2 support workers are volunteers. Half the remaining staff who help the cafe run are all volunteers. I am a volunteer as are all the trustees- we need your help!
This money could do wonders for us. We could pay our rent and have vital funds available for our young people to invest in more therapeutic interventions. We could pay for our support workers securing their support for our young people and adults with additional needs. We could hire the cinema for more Autism friendly screenings. We could replace our broken equipment we cannot afford to replace. We could hire more neurodivergent staff instead of volunteers giving them a chance to earn a wage.
