The Little Birdhouse on Main Street is a cosy, romantic holiday rental that’s been graded 5 Star by Tourism NI.
Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of the aim of its owners, Priscilla and Gareth to create a comfy nest in which guests can feel snug and relaxed during their stay.
While the cottage has recently been extensively renovated, it retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed eclectic vibe that reflects Priscilla and Gareth’s commitment to protecting the environment.
Just a few minutes from Orange Tree House, the Little Birdhouse is the perfect location if you’re getting married or attending a wedding. It’s also ideal for visitors exploring the Ards Peninsula and for pottering in the interior and antique shops in the village.
