Hey peeps… are you still hanging out here? 👀🍫
Just a heads up — we’ve MOVED! Yep, we’ve shifted over to our shiny new home: 🎉

Over the past 6 months, a lot has changed — our chocolate’s got wilder, our name’s changed, and we’ve grown with the times (and the sugar rush!).

So if you still love chocolate chaos, edible monsters, and Trace’s usual nonsense, make sure you’re following us over at Lab Cocoa Workshop 💥 Before we shut this old profile down like a melted chocolate in summer.

What an incredible evening we experienced at our adult chocolate workshop last night! The room was filled to the brim with wonderful and skilled individuals. They delved into the craft of creating nine exquisite artisan chocolates, mastering everything from painting the molds to skillfully filling them with chocolate to form a delightful shell, and then adding a luscious Tahitian vanilla ganache… absolutely divine!

Participants also savored cherry-smoked hot chocolate and had the chance to sample a variety of our delectable bars and desserts.

The masterpieces they created were truly stunning! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to welcoming you back for another workshop soon.

It’s time for some delightful chocolate chaos designed just for adults! Our chocolate workshop is a favorite, where participants dive headfirst into their creativity, unleashing their inner child as they joyfully splatter paint all around!

This evening, everyone will craft nine exquisite artisan chocolates, picking up a wealth of artisan techniques along the way. They’ll savour our rich cherry smoked hot chocolate and indulge in some of our decadent chocolate treats too.

What a Wally !! ! This post was intended for Thursday! We got so caught up with the shop, responding to inquiries, and scheduling private and educational workshops!

We’re absolutely thrilled about the first card for all the Galentines out there… this one’s for you ladies !! We still have a handful of our Valentine’s chocolate cards available, and don’t forget about our delightful bonbons and little puds!

We’re open today from 10 AM to 5 PM, so why not swing by for a delightful treat? How about some chocolate indulgence?

Introducing our latest obsession: LITTLE PUDS! We’ve crafted 10 unique puds, each one a nostalgic nod to the classics, and they’re all made entirely of chocolate!

Our newest creation is Grandma's Apple Crumble with Custard. It features four layers of pure delight: a luscious white chocolate custard ganache, a sweet oat crumble infused with butter and cinnamon, a layer of sweet apple pâte de fruit, and fresh apples blended with white chocolate ganache!

Hooray, it’s Friday! That can only mean one thing: it’s time to celebrate surviving the week with a delicious hot chocolate. Yum!

If you haven’t experienced our hot chocolate yet, you’re missing out! On our open day, we went through an astonishing 30 liters of milk—now that’s a lot of indulgence and hot chocolate moustaches !!

We craft our own hot chocolate using our signature chocolate and a unique cocoa blend, available at Lab Cocoa Studio from Thursday to Saturday for both dine-in and takeout.

If you have a passion for chocolate, get ready to unleash your creativity at our Adult Chocolate Workshop. Here, you will have the opportunity to decorate nine exquisite chocolate bonbons and craft your own edible masterpieces. Guided by skilled chocolatier, you’ll discover the fascinating journey of cocoa beans transforming into delectable treats, while also picking up valuable decorating tips to create your own stunning designs. Enjoy sampling a variety of chocolates and savor our delightful cherry smoked hot chocolate. The workshop lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours, and you’ll leave with nine delicious bonbons to take home.

The cost is £35 per person, with a non-refundable deposit of £17.50 required to secure your spot, and the remaining £17.50 payable on the day of the event.

Thank you all for the incredible messages, emails, and bookings over the weekend; you truly kept us on our toes! We’ve revamped our booking system after your enthusiastic response to our website, and we appreciate it immensely.

We’ve added new workshops for the half-term and Easter, along with adult sessions that are now live, with more to come later today and throughout the year. At Lab Cocoa Studio, we’ll be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, inviting you to shop for chocolates and join our mini workshops. You can also stop by for a hot chocolate or coffee, and if I manage to whip up our brownies, you’re in for a treat—they’re simply divine!

We’ll offer pre-workshops that require booking for a more in-depth experience. During term time, we’ll be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for private and educational sessions, but during school holidays, we’ll be open from Tuesday to Saturday with even more chocolate workshops. Sundays will be reserved for birthday parties, with tea times available throughout the week.

What an incredible day! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday to celebrate the grand opening of Lab Cocoa chocolate workshop. We kicked off the morning surrounded by our beloved family and friends, along with the Joanne and children and families from Sunflowers Children’s Action Group Children’s Action Group, Foster Term of NELincs , Jim and Adam All Things Good And Nice C.I.C, CLLR Ian Lindley
And supporting local businesses Natalie with from ‘Plan your perfect’with balloons and Gifts . Joanne, the founder of sunflowers graciously opened the studio, marking the beginning of this exciting new journey.

As we celebrated inside, a line of eager customers formed outside, all excited to explore our enchanting chocolate workshop. Throughout the day, visitors were captivated by the experience, indulging in painting their own chocolate creations and savoring our famous hot chocolate. We are immensely grateful to everyone who came out and to those who sent their well wishes.

We also appreciate the overwhelming interest in our workshops, prompting us to add more sessions, including special Easter workshops. For more details, feel free to reach out or see website
