I'm doing my best police sniffer dog impression round the kitchen trying to work out what smells like actual fire, not burnt-food fire, fire fire.

Turns out the kettle handle had introduced itself to the side of my pan and was slowly melting into it.

So yer seems very coincidental that text came through shortly after 🤣 and now i need a new kettle 🤦‍♀️

I keep thinking about people in Australia doing this every single year. How. How do they do it. Fully festive in 35 degree heat. Absolute headcases, all of them. Respect though.

Our eldest, Lacey got her A-Level results today and was accepted in to her first choice University: Chester to study English literature.

We are super proud of her.
