A super sample sale is live! (Link in Stories!)

Hello everyone! I don’t put my face on here very often as I prefer to be behind the camera 🙈
But I always think it’s good to pop up now and again so you can see team Velveteen Babies (that’s just me!) 💕
I’m the one who emails, posts and most importantly spends hours creating and stitching your beautiful orders. Thanks for being here, your support always means so much 🩷
My sample sale is live on my website and I’ll be closing my website for orders by next Monday (10th) for a week while I have a long awaited holiday in France with my loved ones. All orders placed before then will be out to you before we go 🩵

After a decorating workout her room is refreshed for the foreseeable! We painted the walls in Dulux Blush Pink which covered like a dream (it was still a workout though 😉)

New walls! A summer holiday project repainting, and for the price of a cheapish top the walls are transformed (just like a new outfit for a room!) 🩷
We loved the blue but little madam requested blush back in her domain, I wasn’t going to argue, I love it!
We used pale blush on the walls which is just gorgeous!
My arms are back to stitching now! C xx

The reason I started Velveteen Babies was for my boys (back before my girl arrived!) and back then there was nothing for their rooms other than tractors or garish colours! I decided enough was enough and started creating garlands for their rooms. Roll on quite a few years, a business and a whole story of Velveteen Babies! Yes my business name seems a bit random now- it started with my love for the book the Velveteen Rabbit! The idea was always to create lovely things that stood the test of time. One day when they are grown they might find a garland tucked away in a box and remember the lovingly put together room that was created for them 💛
My love for creating beautiful boys decor has never gone away, because boys always deserve beautiful creative spaces too 💙💛

Blue and yellow boys room 💙💛 Whilst I’d love to wallpaper this room up again, my oldest boy is not having any of it! But prints and banners and garlands are the easiest way to add fun to walls and can be changed in seconds which is standard at our house 😉🤍

Pastels 💕 I miss these blush walls which were the perfect backdrop for all things pastelly and blush pink still remains my top colour for garlands and magnets- it’s still one of my absolute favourites and is endlessly pretty 💕
My toddler room days are full of nostalgia, and pastel tones make everything feel soft and inviting. Many a cosy evening was spent picking a picture book from the shelves and snuggling up, they grow too fast don’t they?! 🩷
