From the BADA Friends Director:

If you are longing for a trip to the British countryside in flaming June, then Houghton Hall www.houghtonhall.com/ in Norfolk should be on your list this summer. In conjunction with Pangolin London, Houghton Hall is presenting a stunning exhibition of works by the sculptor Lynn Chadwick CBE (1914-2003). Spanning four decades of the artist’s career, this is the largest exhibition of Chadwick’s sculpture since his retrospective at Tate Britain.

From the BADA Friends Director:

On my travels this week I popped into Mason’s Yard to see the stunning Joseph Southall (1861-1944) exhibition put together by BADA members Sarah Colegrave and Harry Moore-Gwyn. A wonderful collection of paintings and drawings covering portraits, landscapes, some delightful illustrated letters to family and friends and an exquisite knitting bag designed by Southall with a Ruskin lace panel. If this period of art is a passion, then this is an exhibition not to be missed. It runs until 27 May at 6 Mason’s Yard, Duke Street, St James’s, London SW1 and is open from 11am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
