🤝 Working Together for a Safer Riverside 🤝
Yesterday (Wednesday 22nd July), we were pleased to welcome PCSO Eric and PCSO Julie from the Haverfordwest Neighbourhood Policing Team to Riverside Shopping Centre as we continue our joint work to tackle anti-social behaviour and shoplifting.
During their visit, PCSOs Eric and Julie took the time to visit every premises across the shopping centre, speaking with managers and business owners, listening to any concerns they had, offering crime prevention advice and reinforcing the importance of reporting incidents. These visits are an important part of building strong relationships with our retailers and ensuring everyone knows the support available to them.
With the summer holidays now underway, Riverside Shopping Centre and the Haverfordwest, Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to work closely together to maintain a visible presence and help keep the centre a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Riverside Shopping Centre Manager, Chris Walters, said:
“One of my priorities has always been to build strong partnerships, and the relationship we have with Haverfordwest’s Neighbourhood Policing Team is exactly that. By working together, sharing information and maintaining a visible presence, we can help prevent issues before they arise and make Riverside an even safer place for everyone.
I’d like to thank PCSO's Eric, Julie and the whole policing team for taking the time to meet with every one of our businesses and for their continued support. As we head into the busy summer holidays, we’ll continue working together to tackle anti-social behaviour and shoplifting wherever we can.”
Thank you to Eric, Julie and the wider Haverfordwest Neighbourhood Policing Team for their continued commitment to supporting our businesses and the local community.
