A huge thank you to Krista, Gillan and the team at Project 83 for hosting us today.

Thank you also to everyone that came along and supported the sellers who had come from (very) near and (very) far. We had some lovely conversations and plenty of records are heading to new homes tonight.

Our next visit to Newquay is on Saturday 3rd October.

A parcel arrived for me this morning. Inside were 2 copies of this album, I bought it direct from the artists store in Hong Kong.

It was one of the first SACD's that I bought and now I own it on vinyl.

It has the "One Step Pressing" sticker on the front, this is one of those 'marketing stickers' that isn't just about the hype.

I can't wait to listen to this when I'm back from Newquay and Camborne Record Fairs.

I'm often asked about cash and card payments before, during and after the fairs, so to try and clarify.....

Payment by cash is preferred if you have it!

Not all our sellers take card payments so you may miss out on some bargains if you don't have some cash with you.

I will take payments by card or cash for any records that I sell.

Project 83 open at 8am for breakfast and drinks and whilst officially we don't start selling records until 10am, I'm pretty sure we'll be set up by 9am.

This 3LP set was reissued by Rounder records late in 2025, if you like Alison Krauss and Union Station and you don't own the original Mobile Fidelity issue from 2006, then you really should go out and buy it.

Yes, it's a live album, but the recording is stellar.

Yes, it's a digital master, who cares, it sounds bloomin' amazing.

If you don't know Alison Krauss, look her up, she has won 27 Grammy Awards, has the voice of an angel, is a world class 'fiddle' player and has collaborated with Robert Plant.

My copy was bought from Music Magpie via eBay for £66 including postage.

Absolute bargain.

After the huge success of our first fair, we're back and we'll have some of our usual sellers with a great selection of records.

Lots of records from 1960's through to 2025/6, pre-owned and sealed, pop, rock, prog, reggae, dub, folk, soul, funk etc.

Tea, coffee and cold drinks available.

Free admission.
