The Porthleven Market Book Swap is back — and this time it’s not going anywhere!
Our man-who-can Nigel has built a proper permanent home for the book swap, right here in the market. Bring a book, take a book, or skip the swap altogether and pop a donation in for Porthleven Lights instead.
Grey old day like today? Perfect excuse to duck in, grab a brew, and pick your next read while you shelter from the drizzle. We reckon it’s one of the best spots in the village to wait out the weather.
A couple of house rules, though: we’d love it if folk held off on dropping off out-of-date handbooks, manuals or guides (especially the ones tied to a specific year) — they tend to just sit there gathering dust. Plus we’d appreciate it if you only bring as many books as you take as we are limited with space! If it doesn’t fit bring it back another day!!!
See you by the shelves! … and if you can’t reach to top shelf just ask a trader to get you some steps!!
