Dear All
This message is primarily for members who were unable to attend today's meeting. Here follows a message from our Chair:
"Unfortunately the Committee have taken the very sad decision to close this Club at Christmas. So the December meeting will be the last. The Committee have prepared packs for you to look at the financial details which have been very clearly laid out by Bernie. Basically we do not have enough members to carry on, we have gone from 38 members in 2014 to 25 this year. Obviously if people are happy to take over the running of the Club they are very welcome, perhaps others would have more success."

If any members that we do not hold their email addresses for would like to have the pack sent to them please send a private message with your email address. I explained during tea break that for the last 4 years we have been surviving on our surplus built up over previous years. To make ends meet, if we continued with 25 paid up members we would need to charge subs of £100 per annum.

If anyone has any questions I will be at the Pot Luck Lunch or otherwise please feel free to message me and include your email address.

Don't forget we have a meeting this Thursday and have Lorraine Saunders demonstrating Magic Moments.

Doors open 1:15pm for you to peruse the sales table and have a chat before the meeting starts at 2pm sharp.

Visitors always welcome at £6.50.

Our next meeting incorporates our grand plant sale and we have Catherine Holness demonstrating 'Start with Music and End with Flowers'.

Visitors always welcome - £6.50 on the door.

Plant sale starts at 1:15pm prompt and demonstration at 2pm.

A lot of the plants have been grown in small peat pots to enable you to put them straight into the ground / tub so if you have an egg container to bring along this will help to carry them back home.

We had a wonderful demonstration last Thursday by Jane Hass.

Next month our meeting on May 10th incorporates our plant sale, there will be perennials and annuals on sale from rudbeckia, bizzie lizzies, lobelia, antirrinhum, geraniums and petunias to name but a few. My greenhouse is brimming full so come early to pick a bargain up.

The 12th April is our next club meeting and we have Jane Haas with her demonstration entitled Spring is in the Air.

Visitors always welcome, bring your friends for what is sure to be a wonderful demonstration.

Thank you to everyone who turned up on Friday for the coffee morning to help raise funds for the club. If you have any suggestions for future fundraising events please let us know.

Yesterday we were entertained by Nadira Burki and here are her final demonstrations entitled Pashmina Fever.
