One Whole Year at 48 Cross Street! 📍🔑

I cannot believe it's been a year since I opened the doors to my shop for the first time! 🤯 What a year it's been... so many events, occasions and lovely customers. 🌸

From weddings to funerals and more Bouquets than I can count, it's been a whirlwind of a year. 💐 I am super grateful for the support I have received from Abergavenny and of course my customers who live closer to home too.

🌞 Annual Leave Notice 🌞

Ivy & Rose Florist will be closed for Annual Leave from Tuesday 30th June and will re-open Monday 13th July.

I am taking a few days off to have a rest and find some sun! ⛱️

A heads up if you're planning on visiting the shop over the next few days...🌸

We are OPEN as usual, however...

⛱️ The blinds will be closed from around lunchtime onwards. When the sun comes around, the shop is like a greenhouse!! 🥵
I am trying my hardest to keep the heat out and off the flowers. Even my air conditioning unit is struggling!! ☀️

💐My flower buckets might look empty in the front of the shop however I still have my usual huge range of flowers available. I just have a few on display and the rest are in my stockroom keeping cool. ❄️
More than happy to show you what I've got available in the storeroom! ☺️

Although the blinds may be closed, I am very much OPEN. The door will be propped open hoping for a slight breeze 🤞So please do pop in and say hello! 👋

Had the BEST weekend at Keukenhof Gardens & Floraliën Ghent! 💐🌷🌿

So many flowers to see and look at...felt like I was in heaven! 😍

Keukenhof Gardens is definitely something to see in your lifetime. It is amazing! So many flowers and different flower shows in the pavilions there too! So much to see...79 acres of gardens! (And a lot of walking!) 🤪😂

Floraliën Ghent was also a great experience! Such a huge variety of large-scale flower arrangements and styled exhibits. It has given me lots of new ideas and colour palettes to try!

I'd definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of going.

Another thing ticked off my bucket list! ✅️
I wonder where the next adventure will be...🌸

Just a little notice, I will be closed this Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 1st May and will re-open on Tuesday 5th May.

I am heading over to The Netherlands & Belgium for a few days to experience Keukenhof Gardens and Floraliën Ghent! 😆🌸🌿

I had the pleasure of making these funeral tributes recently. 🌸🌻

The family requested lots of colour and a mixture of flowers to accompany the colour scheme of each tribute.

The posies were a massive 20 inches each along with a 3ft spray. 💐
