The Ulster I designed specifically to be smaller, more comfortable and less noticeable in a pocket. Saps that get to 7" or below have a reduced capability compared to the longer saps, to counter this I have added the longer overhanging strap and the pommel flare that allows this sap's pommel end to sit in the palm of the hand while the longer strap aids retention, making this sap more like it's 8-8.5". This combination works. Compared to a 7" sap with loose wrist thong (paracord or leather) the Ulster feels sturdy and meaningful

Shop Drop preview for 20th Sept 26. Three of my Flat Sap models available this week. All have the spring steel in the body, and the lead head is cast directly to the steel. All have the classic flat sap bulge in the head end from the rounded tapered heads, there are no pronounced ridges caused by flat edges of the lead inside; flat lead edges tend to cause the leather to wear through quicker. All hand stitched by me, in a saddle stitch; a stronger type of stitch than machines use.

Items will be listed in the website shop at 6pm UK time today, not earlier, and they'll be priced in the shop at point of sale - I do not sell on any social media so I won't respond to any comments of 'price?' or 'how much?'

Seems someone is using my photo's to sell, on OfferUp, a US only site, I can't access it as I'm outside the USA, so can't tell if this is current or historical. I've emailed them to let them know. For my people in the USA please be careful of US only second hand sales, I'm definitely not in Los Angeles and that goatskin background is huge give away that those are my pictures.

I made these impacts a long time ago, the tan Ulster sap is made with repurposed leather from a 1970's document bag/case.
