That's us done! Thank you to everyone who stopped by either this week or at all to help support us. Thank you to the other traders, to Hereford Butter Market, and anyone else who made me feel welcome. Also, a special thank you to my girlfriend, Gemma, who has been with me the whole way. It's sad to say goodbye, but I definitely learned something over these past six months. What that thing is I can't quite say, but it's definitely there. Lodged in like some sort of lesson worm. Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks again, and see you around!

Here it is, folks. This is the final day for you to pick up for cheap before we stop trading. Remember: all books are now 50p each (yes, even the hardbacks). We'll be here for much of the day, but it will depend on how quickly we sell out. Seriously, now is the time.

Good morning. Just a reminder that we are closing down this week, so all books are now 50p each. Get them while you can, as it's unlikely we'll be around our usual hours while we try and sort things out. Once stock is gone, it's gone.

Thank you for all your messages and condolences yesterday. This was not an easy decision, but it's ultimately the right one for us.

Yes, sadly it's true. We will be ceasing trade at the end of this week, at the latest. There are numerous reasons for doing so, but the gist of it is simply that it's too difficult to maintain a business in this climate.

Fortunately, I'm one of the lucky ones, in that I can go back to doing what I did beforehand (freelance writing/editing).

So yes, from tomorrow (Tuesday 25th), ALL books will be on sale for 50p each. Yep, even the hardbacks. I want to shift as much as I can before the end of the week. Obviously, the 3 for £5 offer is no more. Of course, if you want to pay me more for books, I'm not going to turn that down.

It also goes without saying that I won't be taking in any more donations; once stock is gone, it's gone, so get in while you can.

I would also like to thank everyone who supported me over these past few months, whether through purchases, donations, or just chatting about literature. It's been a pleasure.

Having said all this, it's possible that BookMasters may return in the future. I'm not necessarily abandoning the idea entirely; I could decide to give it another go in a different capacity, or rebrand the business. Who knows...

Thank you again, and thank you to Hereford Butter Market, Q's Comic Store, and the other traders who have been very kind and welcoming to me.

Good morning! Apologies for the absence yesterday. We're back open and we have another kind , this time from one of our regulars.

As always, we are ever grateful for any people are happy to donate to the business. Going forward, however, we're going to stop accepting books for a short while, just while we work through the stacks we've been getting recently. Thank you to all who have donated, and we'll put a call-out when we start accepting again.
