🔧 We're Hiring – Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative 🔧

📍 Shepton Mallet, Somerset

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our Estates Team at J H Haskins & Son Ltd.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for helping maintain our commercial property portfolio, carrying out repairs, planned maintenance and ensuring our buildings remain safe, compliant and well-presented.

The role includes:
🛠 General building maintenance and repairs
🔨 Basic carpentry, plumbing and decorating
💡 Minor electrical maintenance (where competent)
🚪 Planned and reactive maintenance
🏢 Working across a range of commercial properties
🤝 Supporting the wider Estates team on improvement projects

We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience in general building maintenance or a similar role
✔ Is practical, reliable and takes pride in their work
✔ Can work independently and as part of a team
✔ Has a full UK driving licence
✔ Has a positive, can-do attitude

Alice has been appointed our Estates Director for J H Haskins and Tiffany has been appointed our Sales and Marketing Director for Haskins Furniture.

The combined experience Tiffany and Alice bring to the board is invaluable and we all look forward to working alongside them.
