Before we take a look at this week's picks, can we have a word about books?

OUR PAPERBACK FICTION SHELVES ARE RUNNING LOW.

Plenty on display at the moment, but our reserve shelf is almost empty. Do you have any you can donate? All genres welcome and preferably in good, clean condition, please.

Having said that ....fans of Anna Jacobs or Josaphine Cox might want to pop in as we've just put out a good selection from both.

We have Classical Music CD Collection. If you fancy dipping a toe in to the classical scene, but don't quite know where to start, then take a look this fabulous boxed set of 48 CDs. The set comes with an 'A-Z of Music' explanatory book - perfect for those beginners and seasoned fans. Currently priced at £20 - BUT THERE MAY BE A DEAL TO BE DONE ;)

In the Clothing department our sale is in full swing. Most are just now £2, so grab yourself a bargain. PS it's not just summer stock I have spotted a few on the rails with sparkles that might take you nicely in to the festive season.

On the Kitchen shelf there's a brand new, in box, glass worktop saver, in a pretty floral design, priced at just a fiver. But if 'tea for one' is more your thing, how about this cute little teapot and cup set? From the Kirsty Allsop range it's yours for just £3.

And finally, I couldn't resist these little birds from our new stock range. Fresh in this week, and priced at just £3 each, they're already flying out the door.

We get new donations most days, so always worth dropping in when you are passing. And you know how we all love to chat!!

It's Stalham Fringe Festival this Sunday and we will be open 1000-1600. There will be some team members from Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue who can tell you about their vital work.

News from The Shelf

As Halloween approaches what better way to enjoy it than to lose yourself in a good, seasonal story.

First we have a collection of ‘good vs evil’ tales by Joseph Delaney, in which the Spook and his apprentice battle witches, dark creatures and other ancient evils. Aimed at the young adult, but equally enjoyable for the more mature reader.

Plus, fans of the Vampire Diaries TV series might also enjoy reading some of the original novels by L J Smith.

If you’re planning a special event, or having the family over the festive season, then take a look at this gorgeous set of 10 bone china tea cups and saucers. From Royal Worcester, and made in England, this comes in a classic, blue and white design, trimmed with gold.

On our Brand New With Tags clothing rail is a lovely jersey dress by Joules. In a pretty floral print - just add a colour block jacket, opaque tights and boots and this will take you nicely into the autumn season. Size 12 and less than half the original price.

Finally, our pick from the vintage shelf is this cane-framed, oval-topped mirror. Always popular, this won’t be around for long!

Now the children are back at school it is great to see those boating on the Norfolk Broads or visiting the seaside still visiting Stalham. Of course we are forever grateful for the local community who continue to support us.

It won't be long before we start our £2 rail and prepare our winter stock.

Until then we have a good range of games for those darker evenings, there is something for all ages.

Don't forget as well as quality preloved goods we have a selection of brand new with tag items, all marked at less than half of original price.

Lots of lovely things in the shop this week. This gothic inspired dress would look great on someone and a bargain at just £10.

We have some premium brands too such as White Stuff and Sea Salt.

It was Stalham's Vintage Fair on Sunday and what a fantastic day we had. The street was bustling with people and our shop was busy all day.

We will be open this Sunday too for you to grab some bargains or just come and say hello and have a rest in our garden.

We have this lovely chess set, priced at a reasonable £30.

You will also find a Brand New With Tags rail, which are priced at less that RRP.

Good afternoon from all at Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Shop.
We thought you might like to see a taster of the many bargains we have in the shop this week.
We have rails of good quality preloved clothing, with prices starting from as low as £3. That dress is perfect for a wedding or summer event that you may have coming up. We may even have the shoes and accessories to go with it.
These unusual Chinsese teapots would be a talking point in any home, don't hang around as they are flying out the door.
Did you know we also sell some new items? Our selection of Tuscany bowls are perfect for those summer snacks.

Find us on Stalham High Street, we are open Monday to Saturday 0900-1600.

We are also open this Sunday (16th August) as there will be a Vintage Collectors Street Market, so why not make a day of it and come and say hi to our volunteers or just relax for a while in our beautiful garden.
