Richard Osman's latest book is We Chase Shadows, the second novel in his We Solve Murders series, which releases 10/09. It's embargoed until then, but we didn't think the POS was and here it is in Antalya airport where we are for a week. Dog of the Week at the bookshop is Mutzli (which means Little Bear in Swiss German). He is a six year old Appenzeller, a Swiss breed of working dog. After he had been in the shop he climbed on the lion in our courtyard. And yes there is an Appenzeller cheese as well!

Lady Gaga carries words from Letters to a Young Poet tattooed on her arm. More than a hundred years after they were written, Rainer Maria Rilke's words continue to inspire artists across the world.

On Friday 31 July, we're proud to present the world premiere of You Must Change Your Life – Rilke · Rodin · Gwen John, a specially commissioned narrative concert written and composed by Tony Britten, starring Roy Marsden, Nicholas Mulroy and Alisdair Hogarth.

Marking the centenary of Rilke's death and the 150th anniversary of Gwen John's birth, this unique evening brings together poetry, music and art in the beautiful setting of St Andrew's Church, Holt.
