I am extremely fascinated with all things Maori, I love the culture, the traditions, the ancestry and the beliefs. So I worked with the symbol Niho taniwha, which represents power, strength, leadership and protection. It honours the elders who pass down their knowledge and teachings through stories and legends. I will be adding a necklace to this piece as well.
