🔴 HORNCHURCH U11s KICK OFF THEIR WINTER CAMPAIGN!

The outdoor season might be over, but cricket NEVER stops at Hornchurch! 💪🏏

Our youth section is back in action this winter, with our young stars taking to the indoor leagues to keep developing, competing and enjoying their cricket! 🌟

First up were our U11s, who got their indoor season underway against Harold Wood! 👊

🏏 Batting first, the boys came flying out of the blocks, smashing their way to 50 runs in just 6 overs!

🔥 A battling performance saw us finish on 90 all out from 12 overs!

🎯 With TWO debutants opening the bowling, the boys showed incredible fight, producing some tight bowling, brilliant fielding and a SUPERB run-out! 💪

Harold Wood eventually reached their target in the 11th over, but the result certainly doesn’t tell the whole story!

Smiles, teamwork, determination and valuable experience — exactly what youth cricket is all about! ❤️

This is just the beginning of an exciting winter for our Hornchurch youngsters, with our youth teams taking part in indoor cricket throughout the coming months! 🏏

📈 WE LEARN. WE GROW. WE GET BETTER. WE GO AGAIN!
