💜 Another Bespoke Up cycled Tote Bag 💜

Here at Cherished Bears by Pam, we’ve always been passionate about upcycling and giving fabrics and clothing a new lease of life. So, when Nichola approached us and asked if we could create a denim tote bag with a pretty purple floral lining, we were delighted to oblige.

We started with a straight denim skirt, adding pockets from different pairs of jeans to create a unique and practical design. We then searched through our collection of surplus fabrics and found the perfect material for Nichola — a beautiful lilac and purple floral cotton that we knew she would love. 💜

To finish the bag, we added a 9-inch lilac zip, which complemented the floral lining perfectly.

The finished tote measures approximately 19 inches wide by 17 inches long, making it a lovely, spacious and practical bag for everyday use.

We’re absolutely delighted to say that Nichola was thrilled with her new tote bag, and we hope she gets lots of use from it. 🥰

We were delighted to welcome back a returning customer who asked us to create another very special keepsake bear.

Earlier this year, after sadly losing her beloved husband in January, we had the privilege of creating a memory bear that brought her great comfort. This time, she wanted to honour his sister with a keepsake of her own, made from the same precious clothing, but with a feminine design.

Yesterday she returned to collect ‘Wendy’, the beautiful name she had chosen for this special bear. It was an incredibly emotional collection, and we were so touched by how delighted she was with the finished keepsake. She loved Wendy so much that she also ordered one of our keepsake keyring bears, allowing her to carry a treasured memory wherever she goes.

It is a true privilege to create these meaningful keepsakes and to help preserve precious memories for families.

At Cherished Bears by Pam, we always listen to our customers and love bringing new ideas to life. That’s why we’re delighted to introduce our newest creation – our Keepsake Key Ring Bear, sewn entirely by hand.

Standing at just 3 inches tall, each tiny bear is lovingly handcrafted from the clothing of a loved one, allowing you to keep a precious memory close wherever you go.

Today’s post is a little different from our usual keepsakes.

This upcycled tote bag was made as a gift for a dear friend using two pairs of original 1970s jeans. The quality and durability of vintage denim make it the perfect fabric for creating a stylish, practical bag with plenty of character.

The bag has been fully lined with a beautiful floral cotton fabric and includes a handy zipped internal pocket, making it as functional as it is unique.
