Another one of my footstools which is made from reclaimed whisky barrel staves and upholstered in Harris Tweed.

This fabric is Harris Tweed A0195 or as I like to call it, the handbag tweed. Mainly because alot of Harris Tweed bags that I see are usually made in this fabric 👜

When I cast my mind back to 2018 when I first started making my Whisky Stave and Harris Tweed footstools. I wanted to create something that no one else was making. This is the first Harris Tweed fabric that I had used on my footstools....I like to call this tweed, modern old man tweed 😅 modern with the pop of blue and old man due to the more earthy tones 😊

Or the correct name for it is Harris Tweed A0166. Its still one or my favourite ones 😊

I love my little Harris Tweed mice family as they are (Photo 2), but I couldn't resist a little bit of festive storytelling.

A few tiny carol books and a lantern, and suddenly they are the star of the show (Photo 1)!
