True story! Even though we had set this up for a reel idea, previous to this I was working away for a few hours. Probably being very annoying choosing trending audios and playing videos over and over again.

Luckily some prosecco and making up dance routines kept them busy until I was finished 😂

Grateful to have a job that can go anywhere with me and to have friends that are understanding.

What I see vs. what I take 🎬 True storytelling lives in the details. To really transport someone into an experience, you need variety. I always shoot a mix of photos and videos at multiple angles, blending live action with close-up textures. That’s how you capture a feeling, not just a view.

I love being able to get creative on a shoot day and working with last Thursday was a dream!

Daniella has the most beautiful baby essentials so being able to capture them in use was just lovely!

The mamas and babies were amazing especially in the heat ☀️

I love this trend because it’s so important to focus on your own life and not get caught up with comparing to others (especially on social media).

But the trend is “yours might be greener, but I don’t care” and I just felt like it sounded a little harsh. Because I really hope everyone’s grass is green and I’ll even help you water it too.

Let’s not compare, let’s be content in our own lives but also help build each other up xx

My biggest advice for posting content that works:

• don’t get too caught up in trying to join in with trends
• be authentically you
• sharing content you enjoy and like creating will perform the best
• don’t post for the sake of posting
• have a strategy - really look into your content pillars and focus on covering a mix of these each week

I truly believe in this and I love how supportive the small business community is. Everyone championing each other is the best!

I’ve seen lots of people say how tough they’re finding things right now, a mix of social media and sales. And I just want to say; don’t give up. There’s always so many ups and downs in retail. It’ll come good again.

Don’t let this period make you doubt yourself!

Instead let’s keep sharing each others small businesses and help spread the love xx
