WE ARE RE BRANDING!

During the time I had to take out due to my slipped disk I have been working on the back end of the business.

Whilst things have been fantastic I am very aware things could be better for both turn around times and customer communication which is the exact reason I am making these changes.

I’ve gotten so far with this business and it’s been a huge huge task not only keeping my head above water but also keeping things in an upwards direction.

You will see more of me in the next few months as I will be posting more on our social media, lots of people have lots of questions about what I do here and I’d love nothing more to show you all how it works.

Once again please familiarise yourselves with our new name CARBON CYCLE WORKS.

ALL CUSTOMERS!!!

I think all of the work in the shop and heavy lifting and late nights has finally caught up to me.

Whilst I am in my busiest period I have no choice but to close whilst I rest/treat/figure out what’s happening with my back pain.

I don’t like closing the shop and hardly take holidays so maybe this was long over due.

All patience is appreciated and I will arrange all collections/drop offs for my return (11th June)

Any issues please still reach out as I will still be contactable but please do not expect any collections to take place during this time unless it’s an emergency.

So the new spray gun works well!

The first time I’ve managed to use the .spray supplied clear gun, the PRD 717 is a great piece of kit.

In the last few months I’ve been pushing to upgrade all of our equipment to ensure top results.

This Emonda hasn’t even been polished yet, this is a straight out of the gun Finnish.

UNIT UPDATE!!!

For those of you who have been following for a while you’ll know the business had flooding issues in our previous unit.

This caused a near collapse of the business as my compressor was constantly struggling with moisture issues on a mass scale, my only option was to tear out the unit and simply move into another unit with no building materials.

I’d only just settled into that unit so this was a huge financial hit but I simply couldn’t keep having issues with paint work and jeprodisring my quality.

The new unit has been our new home for just about a year.

It’s been the hardest year I’ve experienced to date and here’s why!

Operating a busy business is one thing but to have to build the premises from ground up in the middle of your quietest period with no real financial backing I was reliant on the money made day to day.

The pressure to make it work was incomparable, I’ve had to juggle customers, try my best to remain professional whilst having 0 time, building deep into the nights, I had to give up my living accommodation for a short while just to salvage this business.

Sacrifices had to be made.

But I’ve done it….

I’ve upset a few people along the way, I’ve had my breaking points but I’ve never stopped with my personal vision.

The unit is done,

12 months later I can now operate as a functional business for the first time in over 2 years of nothing but stress, incorrect infrastructures and the wrong working environment.

For those who have supported me through this without knowing how much it’s meant I just want to say thank you to you all.

More daily content will be coming once I have the digital section set up upstairs 👍🏼

Bike wash station is nearly ready for action, this was a test to find issues and fix said issues!

If you’d like to have your bike deep cleaned you know where to find us.

This service costs: £30 per bike. 💰

This includes:

• full bike wash down
• wheel scrubbing
• decontamination of paint work (matte bikes)
• chain + mechanisms + cassette ultra sonically cleaned.
• chain re-waxing.
• re-assemble.

Please note! This is not a fix your bicycle service it is a detailed deep clean.

You can add a service in conjunction to your deep clean. 🧽

Nilahs been busy this week inspecting all of the bikes in the shop! 🐶

We’ve trained her to smell out broken bikes, worn chains and cracked frames.

We definitely have some of the most cutting edge technology here.

I’d say cheap to run but sadly she also goes through more toys than I do gloves 🧤
