✨Shop Update News✨

The Brimblewood shop will be reopening at 9pm BST, July 1st, with a new collection of Woodlanders. 💚

I’ll also be opening this year’s Brimblewood Summer Event, where I’ll be taking a limited number of made to order commissions of Brimblewood’s main characters.

I’ve spent today photographing as many little faces as I could before I ran out of daylight, so there are still quite a few waiting for their turn! 🙈 I’ll be introducing those throughout tomorrow before the shop opens.

I hope you enjoy meeting some of Brimblewood’s latest additions. ☺️

Yesterday I wrote a little journal post about Woodlanders and Brimblewood being an escape for me - a chance to play and be transported back to a simpler time, when I’d spend hours with my Sylvanian Families in front of a dollhouse my grandad made.

I used to make up stories, giving each character a name, an occupation, a personality, and a family.

A few years ago, I wrote a story about why all the Woodlanders carry a teddy. It’s been sitting in my notes ever since, so I thought I’d try something a little different and share it here.

I know this probably goes against all social media-posting advice, but these days I find myself engaging more with posts that I have to pause and read, so I thought this would be okay to share. ☺️
