Gardening is good for the soul.

Beyond the beautiful blooms and fresh flavours, spending time in the garden has so many benefits — from helping us slow down and switch off, to getting outside, connecting with nature and enjoying the satisfaction of growing something ourselves. 🌱

Whether it’s tending to a few herbs on your windowsill, planting up a container or creating a whole garden space, those little moments outdoors can bring a sense of calm and joy to everyday life.

So next time you’re watering your plants, picking a few herbs or simply enjoying your garden, take a moment to appreciate the positive impact it has on your wellbeing. 💚

🌿 Not every garden needs full sun to flourish 💚
If you have a shady corner that’s left you wondering what to plant, don’t worry—there are plenty of beautiful plants that thrive with less sunshine.
✨ Hostas love the shade because their large, leafy foliage stays lush and vibrant without the risk of scorching.
🌱 Ferns naturally grow on woodland floors, making them perfect for bringing texture and greenery to cool, shaded spaces.
🌸 Honeysuckle is happiest with its roots in the shade and its stems reaching towards the sun, rewarding you with beautifully fragrant blooms.
🍃 Heucheras are grown for their stunning foliage, and partial shade helps keep their colours rich and prevents the leaves from scorching.
Shade doesn’t have to mean missing out on colour or interest. With the right plants, those cooler corners of your garden can become some of the most beautiful spaces of all.
📍Visit us in-store to explore our range of shade-loving plants and let our team help you find the perfect match for your garden.

It’s time for Houseplant of the week! Meet the stunning Ficus ‘Belize’🌿💗

With its striking variegated leaves in shades of deep green, creamy white and blush pink, the Ficus ‘Belize’ is a true statement houseplant that brings colour and character to any room.

✨ Did you know?
• The pink tones are most vibrant on new growth, gradually maturing into rich green and cream.
• It thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps maintain its beautiful variegation.
• Like many ficus varieties, it prefers to stay in one spot and doesn’t enjoy being moved around too often.
• Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings—it’s much happier with slightly drier roots than sitting in soggy compost.
• Given the right care, it can grow into an impressive indoor tree over time.

Whether you’re looking to add a pop of colour to your home or expand your plant collection, the Ficus ‘Belize’ is a beautiful choice that’s sure to turn heads. 🌱
