I was back at Dove Court Care Home and it was great.

We crafted Forget-Me-Not paper plaques and then did a bit of colouring.

We chatted about the flowers 💐 we liked and the meaning of the Forget-Me-Not flowers as September is the month for Alzheimes and thoes living with dementia.

Last Friday was a great day, with two workshops, one in the morning and another in the afternoon.

In the morning I was at Rose Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare, we crafted some paper Hyacinths 🪻and they turned out very nice. I was then asked to join some of the residents for lunch, which was lovely, as it gave us the opportunity to have a nice chat.

Then I was off to Hickathrift House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare, where the residents made some lovely Forget-Me-Not plaques using paint and decoupage and they did a great job. This was my last workshop working along side Kat, the activities co-ordinator, as she moves on, to further her career. It's been a pleasure working with you over the years.

We had a lovely morning, today at Rose Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare with the residents.

We all enjoyed crafting some beauitful Caribbean Fruit Baskets, during their Mocktail morning, keeping up with the theam of the Caribbean.

We had a great afternoon yesterday, at my Paint and Decoupage workshop 😀

The ladies enjoyed crafting some lovely items, which were all very different and unique.

We had some great conversations, laughs and plenty of refreshments.

This is a great way to switch off, relax and meet new people while doing something different and learning a new skill. 😀

The day went on, as I provided more arts & crafts for another care home, but this time at Hickathrift House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare.

We all had a lovely morning at Rose Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare today.

The residents enjoyed making some Funky Foan Elephants and they turned out great.

Doing creative arts & crafts can be so beneficial to thoes living with dementia, or have other challenges, it focuses their mind and is very therapeutic.

🌞🎶 Summer BBQ 🌞🎶

Join us for a Summer BBQ with a beachy twist on the 15th of August from 12pm to 3pm!

We're bringing the seaside to you with a fun-filled afternoon of delicious BBQ food, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed summer atmosphere. Expect beach-themed decorations, great music from KJ & the Catt and plenty of opportunities to sit back, unwind and soak up the sunshine with friends and family.

Good food, summer vibes and wonderful company. What more could we need!

We all had a very enjoyable morning at Rose Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare today.

The residents made some lovely Mocktail posters and they look great. The funny thing was, we didn't chat about mocktails we chatted about our favourite biscuits 🍪😆and we all like different ones.

It's whatever works at the time, as long as we're having a good time and the residents are socialising.
