Well, here I am again - at least two years since the last post! I had a table at a local craft fair today for the first time in two years! It was great to see makers and their work again. It was also good to experience the buzz of people loving and buying my work. Next weekend is North Fife Open Studios - looking forward to visiting artists again. 🙂

Wow, it's nearly 2 years since I last posted on here! I am not good at posting stuff on Facebook! I think of a few things and then approach the keyboard and think, nope, no-one is going to be interested! Lockdown is a good time to sort this out, but I guess it's a case of getting a new routine around social media. Like everyone else, there have been good and bad days and my mojo seems to be in quarantine too. My phone is too old, small and offers so little in data that i rely on this old laptop for anything else. But it has to be cranked up in the morning and fed fossil fuels throughout the operating time! Hee hee, only joking! It is nine years old - Methuselah in tech terms. New phone or tablet can mean regular updates and my daughter mentioned Instagram. Anyway, I will post come pictures of the work I have done over the past two years. Don't expect to be bowled over though. I will try my hardest to come back to this within the week and definitely within two years! Thanks for reading this you lovely people. Stay safe! x

Just back from The Quilt Fair at Ingliston. Fab! So many colours, patterns, threads and beautiful quilts. After a spell of no inspiration and sewing machine down time, this was the boost I needed! Where is my sketch pad?! 😀

Found some pieces in the craft room whilst trying to tidy it! The patchwork bags are made from old jeans, my daughter's tie dyed school blouses and left over quilting cotton. The cross stitched sun piece was one of the first things I stitched using the sewing machine. The last picture is of one of my stitched book covers. There are others but Ellen is the photographer and she had to go! :-) x

Hi folks. I haven't forgotten this page! I'm just making a lot of stuff in the craft room so that I can then put that aside and take care of the garden for a bit. I should be finished in about a fortnight or so... Goodnight :-)

These are some of the wedding themed items I made earlier in the year (favour boxes, cards, gift cushion, decorative hanging heart, stitch covered guestbooks and of course, the Tilda bride). I think they turned out OK. I'm hoping to make some more for a craft show later in the spring :)
