You maybe saw the earrings on here on Wednesday evening and this is who they where made for.

Back in March, I met Caitlin when she supported Elles Bailey . We got chatting about jewellery, and I came away knowing exactly what she'd love.

It's a bit of a gift of mine. I can usually sense the colours and style someone will love. So I made her a pair: deep purple faceted Amethysts in the centre, antique gold and emerald green crystals, with a nod to a peacock feather 🦚

I gave them to her after the gig last night, and she put them on straight away. Her message afterwards:

"These are absolutely stunning and I am so honoured that you made these for me. These will be cherished both onstage and off."

That smile is why I make what I make. A pair of earrings made just for you doesn't simply sit there. You stand a little taller, smile a little wider, and feel seen.

Hey everyone, it's been a while! September had a bit of everything, networking, sewing, 4 nights in Milan with great friends, and (less glamorously) a week flat out with a horrible bug once I got back.

Through all of it, the jewellery didn't stop and the first of a brand new sunflower bangle design flew off to its new home this month. There's something lovely about handing over a piece you've just finished and watching it head off to be worn.

The last two weeks have been about something new too! The web shop build is properly underway, which means more of these pieces will have a home online soon.

A different afternoon today here at Peacock HQ.

Sewing machine brought out for the first time in years to make a new top using a silk scarf.

Joey froze, very quickly, in fear when he went to touch my sewing shears - even Cleo stopped in her tracks!

The necklace was one of my very first forays into seed beading back in lockdown that I finally finished this week 🫣 Similar design will be available soon on my web shop 😁

A few weeks ago I decided to enter the UK Small Business Awards.

After 5 years of being self employed, Fifi and the Peacock is a 2026 Finalist, Best Home Based Business, representing East Yorkshire! 🦚

Every piece I make still starts the same way it did fifteen years ago. By hand, at home, because I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere else. Being recognised for that, alongside businesses across the whole of the UK, it's a bit crazy in all honesty!

Thank you to everyone who's worn a piece, messaged about a commission, or just stopped to say hello at a market. You're the reason there's a business here to be shortlisted at all.
