We have considered dabbling in wholesale for as long as we've been doing this but I kept telling myself that the stuff 'wasn't good enough' for shops and nobody would want it anyway.

Lo and behold, we were approached earlier this year about a potential wholesale opportunity by a shop!

It was the nudge I needed to get my finger out and get my wholesale arrangements sorted.

Like a new foal, I stumbled around in the dark initially and that same shop has only just today received a link to my wholesale website but, I did it!

Believe it or not, the website has been ready to be sent for nearly a month and I've really had to find the courage to put myself and our stuff out there in this way.

A select handful of small businesses that I have been secretly pining over for months have also received an email with the link today too.

how much time do you think lapsed between my first and last attempt at making a bedazzled soap?

years? months? weeks?

try hours. nearly 24... but still!

attempt 1:
yikes, right?! are we playing Candy Crush? did a 5 year old make it? why so lumpy? are we mining for gems?

attempt 2:
believe it or not, was much the same as attempt 1. ffs.

attempt 3:
the black wasn't working, change that. the size of the 'gems' were too flat, panic order some new moulds. the pour over soap technique to stick the gems down is too lumpy, gotta hatch each gem and subsequent area under it on the soap slab to make sure they stick on properly.

I have been making soaps for over 2 years and you would think that I'd have a vision and just know how to execute it but that is most definitely NOT the case.

but not giving up is definitely something I've had to learn.

and I'm so glad I kept pushing the vision!!

Apologies, we went a bit MIA there for a second. Mental health matters folks ✌️

But, we are back in (social media) business!

We have been plodding along fulfilling our online orders and have been doing shed load of work on a new retail website and a place for wholesale queries too!
