🎒👕 HELP US SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES – SCHOOL UNIFORM APPEAL 👕🎒

We are reaching out to our wonderful community for school uniform donations to help local families who may be struggling financially.

At GladRags Charity Shop, we are collecting good-quality, clean and usable school uniform of all sizes – whether that’s:

👧 Primary School Uniform
🎓 Secondary School Uniform – especially needed!
👕 Shirts, trousers, skirts, jumpers & blazers
👟 School shoes and other suitable schoolwear
🏃‍♀️ PE kits are also very welcome!

We understand that times are difficult for many families, and the cost of kitting children out for school can put an additional strain on household budgets.

💛 Our aim is simple – to help.

All suitable donated uniform will be made available FREE of charge through our charity shop to local families who need a helping hand.

If you have outgrown uniform sitting in cupboards, wardrobes or lofts, please consider donating it to us rather than letting it go to waste. One donation could make a real difference to a child and their family. ❤️

Portland Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17 7BH

Please bring donations to the shop during opening hours, Monday–Friday, 9am–2pm, or contact Our Centre if you would like further information.

The more people who hear about our campaign, the more families we can hopefully support.

Let's come together as a community and make sure that no child misses out because their family is struggling with the cost of school uniform. 💛

📢 A POLITE NOTICE TO OUR COMMUNITY 📢
We would like to take a moment to kindly remind everyone that abuse of our volunteers, whether verbal or physical, will not be tolerated.
We are a local charity and community project, run by people who genuinely want to help and support our community. 💛 Our volunteers give their time freely and do their very best to assist wherever they can.
There may be occasions when we are unable to collect items for the Ashfield Furniture Project or our charity shop. This may be due to limited storage capacity, the condition or suitability of items, current demand, transport availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We completely understand that this may sometimes be disappointing, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, please remember that our volunteers are doing their best within the resources and capacity available to us.
We kindly ask that everyone treats our volunteers with the kindness, courtesy and respect they deserve. ❤️
If you are unhappy with a decision or have a concern about our service, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We are always happy to listen and, where possible, discuss any concerns with you in a calm and respectful manner.
