Chi Rho Crafts Chi Rho Crafts is based on the wee Hebridean island of Raasay

The little island of Raasay, just off the east coast of Skye, provides much inspiration for crafting. Many of the colours I use are those I see around me at different times of year and I try to use natural materials as much as possible.

New Raasay tartan tweed lampshades (20cm diameter) for the first time, £45 each. Plus new botanical print lampshades (25cm diameter), £55 each.

It was great to get this lovely comment and a photo of the first pair I knitted: ‘Love my boot toppers from Chi Rho Crafts! Wear them to keep my ankles cosy with short boots too. Perfect with the recent 4 seasons in one day weather! Will definitely be purchasing another colour.’

New item alert! Thanks to my friend Lesley Oliphant (aka Silver Tide) I’ve investigated boot cuffs or toppers. Lesley has just tried on my prototype and it’s a go! They will obviously come as a pair though. Now to decide on wool colours 😁 and then get knitting them 😳.

As we hurtle towards the end of the year, we wanted to wish all our customers and followers a very Happy Xmas and a great New Year!

We have loved our first full season in the cabin and are hugely grateful for all the support. We'll be back open in February , but as always, if you need anything, drop us a message and we'll open up for you xx
