What A Glorious Monday

Beautiful impromptu afternoon at Charleton Farm picking strawberries and tayberries, gorgeous lunch and letting the kids play in the park.

Our whole day and diet revolved around berries- so obviously I had to paint one!

Scared & Excited!!

I am all of the above in equal measures to be showing some of my paintings, publicly for the first time, at this lovely local exhibition!

Come along to have a nosey- there's absolutely LOADS of local artists and craft folks showing their work, all available to buy too if you fancy.

There is the great Grassic Gibbon Centre next door too with a lovely wee cafe and gift shop so make a day of it 😊

Trying a new style....

Trying to loosen up my painting approach so these atmospheric landscapes are way out of my comfort zone!

Not overly happy as this was cheaper paper in my journal so it didnt behave exactly how I'd hoped but I am looking forward to trying again on different paper!
