There’s a tree in Hebden Bridge by the picture house if you’re walking towards the canal from town, and it has a horizontal bit of branch that makes a ledge that would be a really good place to sit. If I wasn’t too old and boring to climb up

Studio sale! 📣 I’ve got a mounted & framed ‘The Boy and the Violin’ print that’s looking for a new home. More details below & send me a message if you can offer it a space on your walls ✨

It’s been displayed before but there’s no fading or damage to the frame. Still, let’s call it £30 if you can collect from Leeds (Bramley LS13) or Halifax (Sowerby Bridge HX6)

If you’re not local I can look into postage costs for sending it mummified in an entire roll of bubble wrap.

Alternatively you can get unframed prints from my Etsy shop illustratorkat.etsy.com 🔗

The Boy & The Violin is a folk tale from Brazil. The print comes with an except from the story as told by Elsie Spicer Eells. It’s a reproduction of an A3-sized ink drawing I made in 2021, printed on 312gsm archival fine art paper. Including the frame it measures approx 40cm * 50cm.

Big thanks! 🖼️🎨

Princess Mary’s owl collection 🦉 If you’ve visited over the summer you might have seen my illustrations appear in their state floor children’s guide - a treasure trail around around the state floor, guided by Luna the daschund. I fell in ❤️ with the hidden treasure in Princess Mary’s dressing room, this grumpy-but-still-kind-of-cute little owl 🦉 hiding somewhere in the designated owl collection display shelves.

The second image is from Harewood House’s digital guide (a really cool resource: harewood.org/
explore/digitalguide). My owl photos were too blurry 🫨

And is an absolute legend for organising it all 🤩
The Artist Will See You Now - 7th September 23

As usual I wish I’d taken more photos because it was an incredible event!!!
Here are some my sister took of me having a really nice time near the serious drawings. Forgot to take any photos of the silly drawings (for the best?)

Big thank you everyone who came ❤️
