2016! 👰🏼‍♀️💍💒

The year I lost one and half stone, because the ‘lady’ in the dress shop said I needed to buy a size 14 wedding dress!
(See pics at end of how much had to be taken in)

The year of being too blonde, too thin and hair too long!! 💁🏼‍♀️which I’ve only just realised! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Leaving tour operating after 11 years, which I knew inside out, to a career in language services, working with prisons, who’d have thought! Plot twist!

Happy 40th Birthday 🥳🎉🎂🎁

Friends for just over 20 years and the memories and fun times we’ve had are endless, we could probably write a book!!

Weekends away, more often than not at Butlins, for the 90’s or 00’s, where you always pack the hour before setting off including the fancy dress outfit that the rest of us have all been planning for months 🤣
And would wake me up the morning after the night before offering me a cider at 11am, and on refusal advising you’d put a berroca in it, as it works wonders - I never accepted!!

A weekend in Marbella for your 30th where the area hadn’t seen rain like it in years until we turned up, and then had to be rescued out of a bar in Puerto Banus during a torrential flood 🤦🏼‍♀️

My hen do to Palma Nova (no not Magaluf!) when I refused to drink a s**t pint, as you know I don’t do peer pressure, and you drinking it on my behalf, and to this day, you still think you broke your nose while being forced to do press ups 🤣
Fast forward to the end of the same night, where the iconic picture of me and you outside Mr Pizza Burger ended in disaster moments later 🤢

Concerts to see Robbie, Little Mix, Steps and Mariah Carey - who I’m sure you only came with me as no one else would 🤔

And to the 100’s of nights out where we always have a drink in our hands!!

Thank you for being the OG and queuing with me for chips and curry sauce at the end of the night, as we can’t end a night without it, and for reading in church at my wedding!! 😊

Until the next drunken night out making even more memories! 🥂

Happy birthday to the one who never knows how old she is 🤦🏼‍♀️🥳
Once thought she was 40, when she was 35, as she saw a Facebook memory about her 30th, so presumed she was 40 next, and only last week she said she was nearly 42, when she was 40 last year!!
Numbers may not be your strong point, but reading books in super quick time, whilst they still look brand new and drinking wine is definitely your thing!
