How to Get the Perfect Candle Burn (and Pick One Worth Your Money) because royalty deserves the best! 👸💅

There’s nothing worse than a candle that tunnels, wastes wax, or barely throws any scent. The good news? A perfect burn is totally achievable and it starts with both how you use your candle and which one you buy.

✨ How to get the perfect burn:

Let the wax melt evenly: On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar. This sets a “memory” and stops tunnelling later.
Don’t rush it: Burn your candle for at least 3–4 hours (depending on size) so it pools properly.
Avoid drafts: Breezes cause uneven burning and smoke.
Know when to stop: Blow it out when about 1cm of wax remains—burning lower can damage the container.

💸 How to spot a candle worth your money:

Wax type matters: Soy or coconut wax burns cleaner and longer than cheap paraffin.

Sunday dinner at ours is less “calm family tradition” and more… chaotic cooking show hosted by me and my son 🍝😂
This week’s episode:
Me: “Let’s make a Sunday dinner 🥰”
My son: “I’m the chef.”
Me: “👀... Okayyy”
Within 5 minutes!
I'm not even joking Queens...Flour on the floor
Sauce somehow on the wall???
Him taste-testing EVERYTHING I make, like a professional food critic.
Me questioning why I thought this was a good idea

BUT… our Eco Queen bamboo utensils held it DOWN 👏🌿
No melting, no weird plastic smells, just strong, sturdy, eco-friendly queens doing their job while everything else descended into chaos
Even when my tiny head chef was aggressively stirring like he was on a cooking competition 😭😅 Don't worry little man, Mum will sort the mess later I guess! 😂

End result:
A slightly questionable-looking dinner… but made with love, laughter, and zero plastic 💚

10/10 would recommend bamboo utensils for chaotic kitchens (and tiny chefs with big energy)

Lighting the candle 47 times because our natural wick has ✨personality✨

Holding our breath so the flame doesn’t flicker like it’s in a storm

Carefully placing everything for the perfect aesthetic… then knocking it over 2 seconds later

Trying to capture “luxury calm vibes” while crouched like a goblin on the floor
