𝗟𝘆𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 - We are delighted to confirm that we have hit our £2,000 fundraising target for our two chosen charities for 2026, Parkinson’s UK and Newark Women’s Aid! We have now raised £2,060 in donations, taking the total to an amazing £2,445 with Gift Aid, which will be shared equally between the two charities.

In August, some of the JTM Service team took on the Lyke Wake Walk, a gruelling 40-mile trek across the North York Moors organised by Overlimits UK. Setting off at 10pm on the Friday night, the team walked through the darkness, tackling tough climbs, tricky descents and challenging, rocky terrain before continuing through much of the following day. There were injuries, aching legs, sore feet and plenty of tiredness, but it was a fantastic team effort and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part.

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 - 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 - At JTM Service we believe in properly maintaining equipment and repairing wherever it is practical and cost effective, rather than recommending replacement equipment unnecessarily. This minimises downtime, extends the life of machines, reduces replacement costs and avoids unnecessary waste.

Commercial laundry equipment and dishwashers can be a significant investment. There are times when replacement is the best option, and when that’s the case we’ll advise it, because we always want to do what’s right for our customer. Wherever possible, though, we start with a repair-first mentality, an approach that’s good for our customers and better for the environment too.

From understanding the hotel's requirements and selecting the right equipment through to installation, commissioning and training, the video follows the project and the people behind it.

For Grantley Hall, choosing the right equipment was only part of the decision. As Director of Housekeeping, Jakub Joubert, explains, it was equally important to work with a service provider that understood the importance of the laundry operation and its impact across the hotel, adding: "I do believe that JTM Service ticks all the boxes."
