What an incredible two days at the Museums + Heritage Show, Olympia London.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at Stand A2, stopped to read our story, asked questions, shared ideas, and took the time to talk with us about sustainability, heritage, textiles, and reuse.

The conversations around giving surplus materials a meaningful second life were genuinely inspiring. From museums and theatres to heritage organisations and creative teams — it was wonderful to connect with so many people who care about craftsmanship and purpose-driven making.

We’re leaving the show with new conversations, new connections, and even more excitement for what’s ahead.

This is the story at Stand A2 at the Museum +&Heritage Show, Olympia London.

For 30 years, we’ve worked in luxury manufacturing. Today, we’re using that expertise to give surplus textiles, retired kits, theatre materials, and unused fabrics a second life through beautifully made sewing kits with real provenance behind them.

Exciting news — The Sewing HQ is exhibiting at the Museum & Heritage Show at Olympia London on 13–14 May 2026.

If you work in heritage, museums, historic houses, national parks, cathedrals, or cultural institutions — we'd love to meet you.

We'll be showing our full range of portable luxury sewing kits, and sharing our From Landfill to Luxury repurposing model for the first time publicly.

Here's something you might not expect from a luxury sewing kit brand: we're re-purposing kits and banners from top sports clubs in sustainable sewing kits.

The reason is simple. Every season, clubs retire tonnes of fabric — playing kit, training wear, match banners, staff uniforms. Most of it has nowhere to go.

We're developing a model that turns that fabric into premium branded sewing kits — with documented provenance, sold as fan merchandise or in club retail.

The same model works for heritage institutions, theatres, historic houses. Anywhere with fabric waste and a gift shop.
