Does it trap heat in?

Not as much as you'd think! A lot of the time we think that due to the colour black absorbing light it means that this tent will be a sauna in hot weather.

As long as ventilation mesh windows are used and the sunroof windows are closed the Aqua Cotton fabric is thick enough, coupled with the traditional tent shape, to keep the majority of heat from entering the tent and spreading through the body of the tent.
