Solana is carefully handwoven from natural plant fibre before being individually hand-painted by a skilled Filipino artisan. Her vivid blue tones, warm orange details and graceful portrait transform the bag into a wearable piece of art.

Look closely and you’ll see the natural woven texture beneath every brushstroke—a beautiful reminder of the hands, patience and artistry behind its creation.

Because Solana is made and painted by hand, the small variations in her weave and artwork are not imperfections. They are what make her genuinely unique.

Tomorrow is the day. 🌿

Yanara Elmina opens online on Monday, 28 September.

Discover our first collection of distinctive Filipino bags, carefully handwoven and stitched from natural buri, sabutan and buntal fibres. Selected pieces are individually hand-painted by skilled artisans, giving every bag its own character.

This is a small introductory collection of just 20 bags, thoughtfully chosen to celebrate craftsmanship, natural materials and designs that feel truly different.

More designs will be introduced in the future—but this is where our story begins.

A thoughtfully selected range of handwoven bags, created by skilled Filipino artisans and chosen for their distinctive textures, colours and character.

From expressive hand-painted pieces to colourful patterns and naturally beautiful designs, our small first release offers a glimpse of what Yanara Elmina is beginning to bring to the UK.
