As soon as the sun decides to come back, these Moroccan spiced lamb chops ๐ฅฉ need to be first on your bbq grill ๐โฆ but if youโre like me and donโt have the patience to wait for that I recommend you make these asap instead!
These tender grilled lamb chops are marinated in a herby spice concoction starring the main ingredient: Ras el Hanout (a North African spice blend that is full of fragrant and robust spices) which gives you such a delicious aromatic flavour ๐. And might I recommend the perfect accompaniment to these chops - a zesty tabbouleh salad and some tahini mint pesto to finish off ๐๐ผ. Now who wants some?
Full recipe below ๐๐ผ
Ingredients:
6 chops (roughly 1kg)
Small bunch of Mint
Small bunch of Parsley/coriander
3 cloves Garlic minced
1 tsp Ginger minced
Salt & pepper to taste
3 tbsp Ras el hanout
1 tsp Chilli powder/cayenne
3 tbsp Olive oil
Juice of whole Lemon
1. Clean and pat dry your lamb chops.
2. In a bowl add all of the marinade ingredients to the chops and thoroughly mix together so the meat is well coated.
3. Leave to marinate for as long as possible (ideally overnight).
4. When ready to cook, bring them to room temperature then grill for 5-7 minutes on each side depending on your preferred level of doneness.
5. Remove from grill and let them rest for at least 5 mins before serving and eating. Enjoy!
