⚠️ Blue-green algae has been found at Chasewater and Cannock Chase Country Park

It can make people ill and can be potentially fatal for pets.

Please:
⛔ stay out of the water
⛔ keep children away from affected areas
⛔ keep dogs on leads
⛔ do not let pets swim in or drink from the water

Signs are up at both country parks to warn people about the blue-green algae. It can take several weeks to clear, and we’ll share updates when we know more.

If you or your pet become unwell after contact with contaminated water, contact a doctor or vet straight away for advice.

Sitting in the cool - with a new little project testing this pattern for Tricia of Natural knits and The Knitting Gift shop. The wool is super lush, gentle with a buttery hint. I will definitely want to knit again
