From 1 October 2026, the UK Government will introduce a new Va**ng Products Duty, a tax applied directly to e-liquid based on volume (26p per ml).
In simple terms, the more e-liquid a product contains, the more tax is applied before it reaches stores. In practice, this means:
A typical 10ml bottle will increase by £2.64
All compliant products will carry a “UK Duty Paid” stamp
This is a government-imposed excise duty on v**e products, not a retailer-led price increase.
At 888 Vapour, we’re committed to keeping our customers informed, supported, and confident in their choices, especially during periods of industry change.
We have clear in-store guides available to help you understand what’s changing and what it means for you.

We have a 6-month transition period from 1 October to sell existing non-duty stock, so there’s no need to worry. We’re sharing this early to keep you informed, and there’s still plenty of time to prepare.
