From early beginnings in 2013 selling our unique products at pop-up events and local artisan markets in Lincolnshire, Ashby Aromatherapy is now a regular exhibitor at trade shows, such as Harrogate Home & Gift and Winter Wonderland in Nottingham, supplying a number of retailers throughout the UK. We still run a number of market stalls in towns such as Leicester, Sheffield, Stoke on Trent and Nottingham. Be sure to check our where to find us page to find out where we are in the upcoming months! The inspiration behind the products stemmed from founder Ash’s background in massage therapy. Ash’s experience working with clients suffering from stress, pain, insomnia and depression inspired him to develop a unique in-house range of aromatherapy products that would help his clients to reach a new level of relaxation and enhance the treatment experience. Our products are:

Hi there, it has been awhile since a post has been published online and there has been many reasons and factors behind this.

I’m going to be open and honest in regards to why the shop has been closed on many occasions and why online orders have been slack. Since April 2021 when I first open the shop on Steep Hill some of you will know that I had issues with the neighbours over shared access to the use of the cellar and it had nothing to do with me, but unfortunately these people seem to think it does I have done nothing but intimidate and harass to the point that we are now in court for proceedings . In addition to that we was broken into, we had theft going on and we had someone playing mental mind games, and someone pretending to be a friend in order to get the shop and my business that I have worked so hard for over the years that it upsets me that I’m in this position having to write this post to explain why. It got to the point that I started to believe that I was going mad as no one wanted believe the things that were happening to me or taking place could actually be happening. That resulted in myself having a nervous breakdown and isolating myself from friends and family for almost 2.5 years.
I have tried my best to ensure the shop has been kept open and I have tried my best to keep things running the best way I could at the time. But anyone that has gone through a nervous breakdown will know that trying to deal with daily events and activities is not always straightforward or easy to do. The easy option is to hide away and stay in bed because it’s easier and before you know it everything that you once had control of has then gone out of control and it becomes daunting to deal with. I never thought I would see daylight out of the dark black tunnel, I gave up and I had no strength of fighting me to deal with anything. With the help and support of family and friends I have managed to rebuild my confidence, get my strength back and take back control of my life without fear, worry or upset. It is one journey that I hope I never have go through or experience again.

I would like to apologise to all my followers for the inconvenience that has been caused when the shop was closed when you have been up to visit, the inconvenience for online orders that have not been dispatched and also for the inconvenience for not maintaining my loyalty to you.

I can confirm and guarantee that the shop on steep Hill Lincon will be back open to normal business hours. There is some changes that will be coming up over the next few weeks and I will be posting that information out to keep you informed.

I am sorry to see that there has been one star reviews published on our ratings. Whilst some of the online orders have been due to me not being there. The main issue has been technical faults with the website and some of that was to do with me not being in the right frame of mind and ensuring things were done correctly, which allowed for mistakes to take place one of them being that no notifications was being sent through to us to notify us of online orders. That issue has now been resolved today. All the orders will be dispatched and those that have been inconvenienced will be contacted with an explanation.

Again I am sorry for all the inconvenience that has been caused over the last 2 1/2 years. I would also like to say thank you to those that have been supportive and helped me through that journey and I’d also like to say thank you to our loyal customers for being patient and understanding.
